Darrington hosts an annual kids fishing derby at the old Fortson Mill Pond off of Highway 530, start early and take the kids for a chance to fish and win!
WDFW Annual Fishing Derby
Washington's fishing derby hosted by WDFW covers many lakes throughout the state. Catch a tagged trout in one of the designated lakes (ours are planted in Lake Riley) and check the WDFW website to see what you won and from what dealer! Usual run time is from opening lowland lake season to the end of October!
